A COMMUNITY CONNECTED BY BABY LOSS

OUR STORY

Oh boy is this hard to write...
Delaney Days is a heartfelt, non-profit community created for anyone experiencing baby loss, inspired by my own devastating journey of losing my twins this year. I lost my son Dylan at 14 weeks due to Patau Syndrome, and my daughter Delaney at 21 weeks following premature labor. The pain of losing them left me drowning in a sea of guilt, confusion, fear, and deep longing that words can’t fully capture. But in my darkest moments,
it was connecting with others who had endured similar loss that began to heal me. Knowing I wasn’t alone made the burden a little lighter, revealing a glimmer of hope amidst the grief.
However, as a young person, I struggled to find supportive spaces that felt relevant to me. Social media was my lifeline, yet most support communities seemed outdated. That's why I created Delaney Days, a community for anyone devastated by baby loss, whether you’re 16 or 80. Together, we can find our way through this painful journey and discover the light at the end of the tunnel.

So what's it all about?
We've launched a petition urging social media platforms to allow users to customize or turn off sensitive ads related to baby loss. The last thing a grieving mother needs after a miscarriage is to be targeted with ads for baby products, maternity clothes, or fertility kits, adding to her pain while companies profit from her loss. LET'S STOP IT!
